About Me
Hiya! My name is Emma Climo and I am currently a freelancing makeup artist, ready to explore the world of makeup and creativity. I have already completed a year of L2 makeup and later on went on the complete L3 later in the year. I passed this with a D* and carried this through to years L3 traineeship in Year 14 which I just completed (September 2022- March 2023). I aspire to be a sfx artist on anything horror this would be a dream for me! I live in Hatfield, Herts, within short reach of the trainline which is a short trip into London. I love making people feel weird to the stomach about how different they look than before, if that's from beauty or from turning someone into an alien haha!!

Throughout this course I really gained an interest on showing off my creativity and even involved my makeup in my photoshoots. This helped me to be able to become a reliable camera man yet also know how to style a shoot and really be in control of my ideas.

Makeup Level 3 National extended diploma
Grade- Distinction *
Throughout this 2 year course on makeup I really gained a knowledge of the science behind makeup and went into many different styles and genre of makeup. This helped me to create a better understanding of the makeup I enjoy and the reason I do makeup. Throughout this course I did a lot of small work on college shows, helping me to get an understanding of what it would be like on set of TV & FILM. Becoming HOD on the shows created communication skills, management skills and gaining confidence in working in groups.
2022-2023
Elstree Screen Arts Academy- Screen-skills Makeup Traineeship.
This traineeship was really about the next step, creating our own unique self and showing it to the world. We got around to doing some work we didn't know about yet from the previous year, helping us to gain more knowledge in wider areas. We were trained my industry professionals, which told us what's its really like working in the makeup industry and helping us to gain the knowledge and confidence we needed to be successful.
